There are also some old buildings where famous figures in China's modern history once lived. The city’s construction on the whole is a combination of European and traditional Chinese styles. Qingdao has two nicknames: "Oriental Switzerland" and "Asian Geneva". Qingdao, like a Shandong girl, is open and frank. The air is very clean in the city and the streets are very clean too. Mt. Laoshan: Laoshan Mountain is located on the shore of the Yellow sea. The highest peak of Laoshan Mountain is 1133 meters. Overlooking the sea, the mountain is characterized by the imposing canyon and undulating peaks and inspiring mist .
First Bathing Beach: The first bathing beach is located around Huiquan Bend The beach stretches 580 meters with a width of about 40 meters . The first bathing beach is surrounded by mountains on three sides.
Qingdao International Beer Tower: Qingdao International Beer Town is called the largest international beer metropolis in Asia. And its area is 35 hectares and has two function regions. the south function region is for entertainment and the north function region is a synthesis one. Now tourists who go Qingdao International Beer Town ,not only join in the activity of tasting beer but also join in the great entertainment.

Lang Ya Terrace: Lang ya terrace is an erecting massif with a height of 183.4 meters and neighbors sea from three sides . Lang ya terrace is a famous scenic spot. In history the king of Yuen Kingdom, Gouging built the Lang ya terrace first.
